COURSE 2 - Helpful Tips

I am having the same issue.  With the kids, plus working.  Its hard to remember information.  Course 2 is too long.  Please anyone provide some study tips.  Thank you

Course 2 is massive, so completing it successfully is both a test of your knowledge and perseverance. By the time you complete Module 20, your active memory has likely archived some of what you've read in the early modules. Here are a few quick tips to help:

• Set up a calendar and commit to regular study time, in one to two-hour chunks (if possible). 
• If you've signed up for Passit, use it at the end of every module (read the Humber module, then use Passit for that module). This helps prevent reading overload, focuses your learning in achievable chunks, and challenges you to apply what you've read (but maybe not fully understood). Don't continue to the next Humber module until you're achieving 80-85%+ in Passit.
  • Take the time to fully understand why each answer option is right/wrong (this can be time-consuming but is the best opportunity to learn). If you're unclear, return to Study Buddy and/or the course materials for a review.
  • Don't get discouraged if you're finding the practice questions challenging—in this phase you are learning as you go and there are many topics that are completely new!  The tough concepts (agency, multiple representation, agreement fundamentals) form the basis of your career, so the time taken now will pay off later.
• When you've finished the entire course, you'll need a strategy to help pull everything together:
  • Download the Humber Course PDFs for your final review - it is much easier to flip through the PDFs to find the material you're trying to review. Many PDF viewers also offer the ability to bookmark pages, making it easy to create a set of last-minute pages for review.
  • Expand your Passit question sets to cover multiple modules (e.g., tackle Modules 1-5, 6-14, 15-20). When you're ready, try Test Mode and the Top 10.
  • Now is the perfect time to dive into the Rapid Recalls. These are perfect as a last-minute review and a complete departure from the MCQs you've already seen (and possibly started relying on memory, not knowledge).
